Write a blog about an expedition

Monday 27th July,

I'm going to go to on amazing expedition next week. I'm really excited because we're going to go studying the Amazon Rainforest. It's very interesting!
I must take my compass, a tent, waterproof clothes, a torch, the laptop so I can continue this blog and other things.

Monday 4th August ,

Here I am in the Amazon Rainforest. Inside the rainfores it's wet, but oudside it's a little sunny and hot.
We're staying next to a little river. I'm taking photos at the different trees and plants.

Tuesday 5th August,

THis is me and my friend studying the flowers and the weather.
Tomorrow we're going to wald at different sities in the Amazon Rainforest and the teachers leave us alone. We deep the rest of the day and all night surviving with our stuff. It will be fantastic!
I must take the compass.

WRITING OF ABOUT FAMOUS PERSON: SHAKIRA

Shakira's full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. She was born on 2nd Februrary 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia. She's 1 metre 57 centimetres.

Shakira became professional in 1995 with her first album "Pies descalzos" when she was 19 years old. Today she has got 37 years old.

Shakira won her internacional succes in 2001 with her album "Laundry service".

WRITING ABOUT LONDON

London is a city in the south of England. Its name was Londinium in Roman times. In Roman times only 45.000 people lived there, and now about 7,5 milion.

There are places in London with the names of important people or important battles in history.

There a Trafalgar Square. This name was used because there was the Battle of Trafalgar, and there Victoria street. This name was used because the queen's name was Victoria.

The people of London are called Londoners or "Cockneys". Famous Londoners include Charlie Chaplin and Arthur Conan Doyle. Charlie Chaplin was an actor and Arthur Conan Doyle was a writer of Sherlock Holmes stories.

WRITING ABOUT MY SCHOOL

Hi!

I'm very happy that you're coming to stay with us next week. Here's some information about my school and my timetable.

Scholl starts at 9:00h on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. And at 8:30h on Wednesday and Friday. There are six lessons every day. The lessons are one hour. My timetable is very simple: On Monday: Catalan and Spanish, maths ans history, science and music. On Tuesday: English and maths, KET and Catalan, Technology and science. On Wednesday: EVP and history, science and technology, PE and PE. On Thursday: KET and ICT, ICT and KET, English and history, maths and Spanish. On Friday: Catalan and Spanish, English and TUT, REL and EVP. The compulsory subjects we are studying in my school are maths, English, Spanish ans Catalan. 

After school, there are extra activities for example the Club of sing or dance.

I usually have lunch in the canteen, except Wednesday and Friday. We eat healthy and balance food. There aren't fizzy drinks or junk food because it's very dangerous for the health.

WRITING AN ARTICLE ABOUT ANIMALS: LIONS

The animal in this photo is a Lion. Lions usually eat deer, nyu, zebra and buffalo. The wild lions live in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. They usually live in Savannah's and grasslands, although they can enter in wooded areas. 

Adults are usually fiercely territorial. 

The biggest problem of the lions is the captivity. They can exceed 20 years in captivity although free in nature, they could last a little longer.

Writing about animals

The animals in this photo is a polar bear. Polar bears usually eat seals.

Females have two cubs every four or five years. Adults polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometres. Polar bear lives in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice. 

Pollution is problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas.

The Artic ice is smaller because de climate is changing.

Writing about Banyoles

Banyoles is a town in the north of Catalonia.

It's got a population of about 27.000 and there is a lot of tourism, because it has got a beatiful lake and people come to visit it.

I like Banyoles because it's very nice. It has got a lot of greennery and is very quiet. For de tourists there are restaurants and shops. My favorite places are the lake, the square and the museum.

Banyoles is 20,9 kilometres from Girona and you can fo by bus. Girona has got lot of shops and cinemas.
